Lungfish Scar/infection?? HELP

Hi Guys just brought this guy home from the LFS and noticed this! What is it, what can I add to the water to help, How do I help??

Please don't say return because I feel I am more capable of helping him than the LFS employees, don't think they really care enough about the individual fish plus I love Lungs and really want him to get mended quick as possible!

looks like a deep scratch or cut. just raise the temp a few degrees and add salt and it will most likely be fine.

Thanks, that is what I was hoping to hear and already raised the temp, buying more salt today, forgot to bring most of it in my move :S
