Lungfish...should I get??

There's a 20-22" lungfish of some sort for sale at my LFS. I think its a customer trade in and they want $100. Should I get him? He's currently in a 40g. I want to put him in a 180 with my aro. Good idea?? Or no?

I would say no unless its a paradoxa. I've had and an annectens for 10 years or so and its destroyed every fish I've ever put in with it including a short lived aro.

I mean you could... but its pretty risky. Since they will occupy different portions of the tank it might be alright. Just dont let the lung get hungry. Its your call and make sure to have a back up plan.

It will kill your aro and/or whatever fish you put in the tank, sooner or later.
