Hi guys I saw a small 10 inch lungfish at my local pet store and the guy said that it should be kept alone, all of my fish are large and peaceful. So are lungfish aggressive or do they get picked on? I have a 240 gallon tank so size isn't an problem. All of my fish wouldn't be able to fit in it mouth and my marble catfish and oscar and 5 large goldfish wouldn't try to take a bite out of it. so can I get one or would there be a problem?

If its an African I would not risk it, mine have all been killers. Some people have kept them in community tanks but I think sooner or later it would chew your fish up. Try to find a South American lung.

I have read that lungfish eventually get very aggressive. It will eventually just bite chunks out if your fish if it can't straight up eat them. I wouldn't risk it

I have mixed results. I have a WAL and Doloi housed together and at first they fought a lot. Now they are fine. I have had the Dolloi kill a marble and the WAL did some damage to another marble that I seperated. King El on here has lots of video of them living together on YouTube. A SAL is fine with anything that won't eat him.
