lungfish with rays

20 inch protopterus annectens with a 10 inch reticulated ray. Is he gonna end up screwing the ray up??

I have heard of this before but I am pretty sure that the lung fish will take a few bites at some stage.

Often depends on room in the tank and the individual fish

there in a 180 with sand and alot of open space so far its leaving the ray alone its been 2 days i think i just gotta keep the lung fed well

In my opinion none of the African representatives are safe.The South American lungfish Lepidosiren paradoxus is a safer bet but even these have one hell of a bite! Personally i wouldnt risk it!
