I love him, he's gorgeous, the salesman said its a lungfish but what kind of lungfish is he?

He's about 10 cm long, black with tiny yellowish/white spots, he's calm, sweet to others, loves hanging in floating plants, comes up for air now and then and i call him Longjohn.

Help anyone?!

jup it's a Lepidosiren paradoxa (SAL) for sure.

hey sunshine i see your also from NL...where did you get you lung(john)

Thankx guys!!

GriF hello fellow kloggy!

Longjohn is from Lunteren, "Tom en Tieneke's dierenspeciaal zaak, dat is in Gelderland bij Ede."

Tom saw him and decided to take him with him knowing i'd be interested in something less known. He was right, he's absolutely gorgeous!

He could'nt tell me much tho so i had to find everything out for myself but thanks to you guys i'm now getting closer to the truth of my long thin friend! Thanks again!

SAL are awesome, by far the most community lung there is.

By the way, GriF,

do you have one and what do you feed him?

I have 2 of them but I have Africans...you can check my you tube link or my MFK gallery. their a bit bigger I think you should just feed some frozen fish food (those cubes from the LFS)..untill it get's bigger.
