Lurker, New at Fish Keeping

Heyy, im from Brazil and started raising fish as a hobby less than a year ago and it quickly grew on me.

So far i got 3 polys (2 senegalus, 1 delhezi) and a spotted gar (or so im told). All very young, less than a year old. Gar is in a 200l tank (44g if im not mistaken), buying some plants and hiding spots so i can introduce 2 of the polys there as well. Growing a very tiny senegalus in a smaller separate tank so it wont be eaten.

MFK already helped me so much, might need more specific help later on so might as well join in.

Welcome! Nice fish. That’s a Florida gar, not spotted gar. There’s a difference, different species.

Thank you!!! I wasn't sure of the exact species, it seemed to fit both descriptions and it was sold to me as lepisosteus only, no specifications
