Lyonsi patterning

Hi' All,

My group of Lyonsi are growing a bit(getting nearer 3 inch), some of them have a really dark horizontal pattern yet a couple have darker vertical bar's going the length of the fish.

The two with the strong horizontal band seem to do the more chasing, is this related to sex of the fish or is it to with stress?

Also anyone know when these become sexually mature?

pics would help,i would say the chasing is just dominance,could also be why the coloring is diffetent as well

The vertical bars are a submissive display - I would expect the two with the horizontal line are "establishing boudaries!" Mine bred at over six inches in length, but many NW species can breed much earlier.
