i have not bred them but have bred other CA cichlids.i would think that you can use same methods as other CA cichlids,get 6-8 juvies,let them pair off.have enough hiding places for female to escape.use some target fish to help the male direct some of his aggression
Im getting 5 from dan next wenesday and can ypu suggest any dithers? Never needed them...i also need some for my trimacs
silver dollars are tough,how big is the tank? giant danios,rainbow fish,tiger barbs.dithers are not always needed,i have had success breeding cichlids without them also.it works for some fish,just an option/preference.trimacs will beat up most tankmates eventually
