I originally picked up 4 of these guys at 1.5-1.75", this is the largest (by a big margin) and most outgoing. I originally thought it was a male because of the head shape and aggressiveness, and it had a good bit of spotting when it was smaller. Since it has grown a bit, all of the spotting has pretty much disappeared completely, and it is starting to get a ton of color in the fins and face. I am guessing female now, just due to the total lack of spotting - any opinions?

Looks like a female to me as well.
My male was pretty spotted up by that size.

Definitely a female. I went through 5 females trying to get a male. It's one of those things, usually if you have to ask if it's a male then it's probably a female. That was my case at least.

Thanks guys, that pretty much confirms what I thought. Not a problem though, since I do have 2 others that are spotted up pretty good, one of them has a crazy amount at a much smaller size. I'll just keep the female on the left side of the divider since she's a psycho killer, and put the super spotted smaller male on the other side of the divider until he catches up in size. I don't trust the bigger one enough to keep the male in there at this size difference.
