Piranhas aren't sexually dimorphic. Like sirasoni said, laying eggs is the only true way to tell.

and alot of the time they wont have eggs so you cant tell if its male and physically cant of itf female and conditions just arnt right

if you wanted to breed just get a group of 2 or mor then most likely you have a m and f then just provide the right conditions
