I saw this brought up in another thread and was wondering if it would work in my tank- I love eels.
I have a 55 gal w/ Msobos, Red Zebras, Lab Hongis and Yellow Tail Blue Aceis. I have lots of rockwork, a Tetra Whisper 60 filter and a AquaClear 70 filter. All of my fish are juvies, including 1 red zebra tiny fry. I have 18 fish total (including the baby) and plan on thinning them down by taking out some males as they grow (I know of at least 1 Hongi male and 1 Msobo male that will be going so far). I do 25%-30% WC weekly with a Python and may go to 2x weekly as they get larger.
My tank is being treated right now which seems to be successful, so I wouldn't get the eel until treatment is over and all signs of disease are gone. I could order it online or have my LFS order it.
Anyways, would this work in my tank? I have always wanted an eel so it would be soooo cool if it could!
