So upon completion of acclimating some fish and moving stuff around, little maintance etc. i figured id hit my oscar tank with the bagarius yarelli on one side. well i lifted a filter and BAMMM i was Tagged, instantly i bled, alot...so i hit the peroxide bottle (Was out of whiskey DOH) and then looked it up on the web, at first the pain was incredible at the tip of my finger, then instant swelling. after about an hour the pain reached up to my arm about elbow range, i took some antibiotics i had on hand, step moms a nurse, and sat down, i kept my hand under the hottest water i could stand, and put some triple anti biotic on it..after a few hours i managed to start to deal with the pain and continued my night, this morning it was still pretty sore and swollen until about 10 maybe 11, its stil tender to the touch and cannot type with that finger, but other then that i think its safe to say BEWARE, i wouldnt wish that pain on my worse enemy..felt like a sharp hot knife digging into my finger very slowly, about 6-7 hours of it... please be very cautious when handling your fish, my first mistake was being a little over confident, lack of sleep had a big play on it, but anyways if you have similiar stories or heard of some interesting ones, lets hear em!
