Went offshore yesterday with a buddy and hit some artificial reefs. I castnetted some blue runners and threadfins for bait and headed out. Early we got onto some mackeral, and then the bite was over for a few hours. We went to another reef and found this big boy. My boat is 20' feet and once we got the shark next to us, it was almost half the length of the boat. I would say 7 ft minimum.

SWEET!

because of the long pectoral fin..imma have to say Sandbar...but could be a bull (cant tell with the glare of water)

Nice fish!

Nice job man!! What's the black shadow looking thing behind the shark in some pictures? Is that it's shadow?

Thanks guys:)

The shadow was some remora (sharksuckers), and other small fish. There were quite a few of them that followed this shark all the way to the boat.
