mackerel?

Morning all,

I was out getting some bits yesterday and thought i'd buy some mackerel to feed the fish in my sig.

Now after thinking about it i remember that mackerel is quite oily.

So my Q is, can i feed this to my fish safely? Water fouling isn't a problem as i do 60-70% WC twice a week anyway.

If it is ok then should i cook it or just bung it in there raw? Obviously i'll chop it to good size first....
