These tiny snails came in on some plants a couple weeks ago. This is the largest one; there are two or three others that are slightly smaller, and a countless number that are similar in size to a grain of sand. This is the first practical application I've found for inverted lens photography (the first pic was taken normally, then cropped; the latter two were with an inverted lens).

They look a lot like wild type Ramshorn Snails to me. If i'm right they should top out at about an inch. They also breed profusely, so you may want to manually remove as many as possible and crush the small ones. Alternatively you could pick up an Assassin Snail to kill them off, or get some Malaysian Trumpet Snails to out-compete them so they slowly die off from lack of food.

This is what I was hoping (on both size and reproduction). If they reproduce as expected, I might even add them to my other tanks, and just buy a few assassin snails when/if they get out of hand.
