Hello all. Seeing more and more folks using this product. Likely going to be using the PW version as a top coat on my epoxy/glasses plywood build.

Who has used this? Concerned about the fumes as I will doing this in my basement, no moving the aquarium at this point. How bad was it? Any tips for doing it inside? Thinking about hanging plastic and utilizing a fan to blow fumes out basement window.

I used macropoxy non PW version. Tank was in my living room and I was also concerned about fumes. The fumes would be terrible in an enclosed room with no windows. I put up a blue tarp to section off the area I was painting from the rest of my house, opened the window all the way, removed the window screen and fixed a large fan into the window with it blowing towards the outside. This pulled alot of the fumes outside and made it tolerable. I would highly suggest getting a painters mask of some kind.

I used Macropoxy for my build last summer. The fumes are really strong. I built mine in the garage and the house still smelled. It didn't cause any headaches or anything, but it was super strong. I would avoid doing it inside the house unless you have a very strong ventilation system going on.

Thanks for reply. I decided against macropoxy and went with Interseal 670HS. I assume it was no better as the fumes were certainly potent I did it in the basement but fortunately I plasticed off an area not much bigger than the tank and made a ventilation tube from a box fan to a window. Worked like a charm, except for a few lost brain cells when my respirator broke.
