Just a few macro shots from today. First off, a tiny jumping spider;)

The common fly.

I thought this was an interesting image. I managed to capture every part of their life cycle within the one shot from the small eggs to the larvae, the larvae to the pupa, the pupa to the sub-adults and last of all the adults.

A tiny mosquito. A little lacking in fine detail but this guy was ultra tiny! Also, I can't say I have seen them this colour before?

It's amazing what can be found within your average lawn.

Cool pics Brent, great shots!

That's amazing!!! and on an off note the spider looked hilariously cute to me.

Yeah, these guys seem to have brilliant eyesight and really pay attention as to what is going on which can make for some great poses!

Great shots! What lens are you using? I have a 60mm so it's hard to sneak up for that close up shot unless they are dead, sleeping, or think I can't see through their camo, lol!

Thanks. I used a 90mm Tamron AF f/2.8 SP Di for these but had it mounted on 68mm of Kenko extension tubes so I could get a little closer.

Incredible shots.......... incredible subjects.. they are so tiny but have so much substance..little monsters.. lol
