I posted this in the cichlid forum as well however I do not feel the Madagascan and West African portion of the forum gets the traffic that these fish deserve. I have been keeping this tank for the past year and I have to say that these Madagascar cichlids have been some of the most fun fish I have ever kept. From the crazy aggression of the Paratroplus Lamena to the clown like antics of the paratroplus keneri I have never had a dull moment with this tank.
I do have some odd ball fish in the tank at the moment (choco cihlid, phenochilus and a short body green terror =))
I use to have a school of puntius rohani in the tank that worked really well also but I have given them to a co-worker and replaced them with the pytochromis >=))
Madagascan cichlids
1 P. Bleekeri
2 P. Lamena (nourissati)
5 P. Kieneri
2 ptychochromis east coast gold (newest additions)
