The man wants some ML in his tank. He has a gravel bottom.
I've read they need a dirt bottom with cap preferably to grow best.
He pondered the idea of a "potted plant" style in his tank, with a terracotta pot with soil for his lace, instead of me taking everything out and putting soil under his gravel.
Could this work?
Are these plants as sensitive to nutrients and soil as claimed?
What are your experiences growing lace?

That is in advance!

It’s a heavy root feeder. Can try gravel with root tans but it’ll better in a substrate that’s loose and can absorb nutrients plus adding root tabs.

I appreciate the replies.. looks like I'll hold off on purchasing some until I set up my 65gal with soil and sand.
I was also told to gold off on them until I get my algae under control in the new tank, I'm assuming they are sensitive to that as well but ?‍♀
