Made a new stand....Now how do I transfer the tank!?

So, I made a new stand for my 120 gallon fish tank, as the original stand was very ugly and low. the frame is done and just working on painting it. I am going for a minimalistic modern look, no trim, just smooth piano black.

My question is how have you guys transfered your existing tanks on your new stands?? Were do you put your fish? BTW, I have a 12"+ arowana in the tank. I have put him once in the bath tub and taped up the shower curtain to the wall so he wouldn't jump out. I had him in there for 2 days while I searched for a new tank as the old one started to leak. I don't want to put him in the tub again. So, what were your guys ideas?

A large plastic bin/tub. Shouldn't take you long to transfer the tank onto the new stand.

Hey if the bathtub is free, and the wife/mom/room mates let you, why not? lol

A plastic tub from any box store is a good second choice though...You can also top it with something pretty easily so not flying fish!
