Made a sump with pics

alright guys i know theres hundreds of these , but i find see more designs always helps. It took me seeing hundreds of these to finally make one so here ya go. Its just simplicity at its best...

O did diy a pvc overflow as well , its feeding this sump.

The texas got really beat up during a mating fight , dont mind his bruises on the side , hes being treated

3/4 pvc , and a 600-700gph pump. I dont know how its working but that pvc is putting out alot more than it should i think. Though the hose on the pump to the tank is long.

I was curious how yours was working, because im building a plywood tank with diy sump similar to yours but im using 1" split into a 1 1/4 T. I'm hoping mine will be enough. I have two pumps, a 800gph and a 1200ghp, not sure which one im gonna use yet. Here is a picture. Great job.

Thanks i could get some pics of the overflow tube if you would like. I dont have a air valve on mine though , i just get my gf to cover the bottom i suck the air tube that pops out at the top and then she lets her hand off. creating a syphon until i take my mouth off the top tube. That way i dont miss any air at all and it functions almost silent and dumps all the water it can out into the sump
