Does anyone have this size pump on their wet/dry? I purchased a new one on clearance for my 240 gallon tank, but it was way too powerful. If you are using one of these, what size tank is it on? Thx

What if you did a DIY under gravel jet system for the return with several outlets? That is if the "too power" part is the return.

I have a Mag24... I used it on a 300 gal 6' round Rubbermaid...
2400 gph is a LOT of pressure to be pushing out of a hose / pipe...
But 2400 gph is not to much flow for a 240 gal tank...
So the trick is designing a method of properly distributing the flow...
I made a return that was basically a big plus sign and each end had a "jet". This helped create a circular flow and worked very well.
At one time I had the Mag 24 and a Mag 18 on the same 300 gal. Even with both pumps running the current was far from to much... but the waste was easily moved to the intakes...
