mag 5 pump question

i was fortunate enough to come up on a free mag drive model 5. My question is do you guys think it will be sufficient on my 100g? Its going to be in a 29g sump and it will run water through a coralife steriziler in the return hose. Currently I have an eheim 2217, 2213 and a ac70 running on the tank and the sump will be added in addition.

should be perfect in the case of too many gph u might need a valve or tee

cool thats what i was thinking, but just for reassurance should i use this over a rio 2500, which is what i was planning on getting until i picked up this mag.

I would run a return line straight from the pump to the tank. Put a T in the line somewhere that then goes to the UV filter. Make sure there is a valve on this line so you can control the amount of water going into the UV. Run another line from the outlet of the UV filter into the tank. I would put the outlet of this line just above the water line in your tank.
A mag 5 is going to push too much water through the UV filter to be effective.

if i hooked the coralife up to the ehiem instead of the sump do you guys think the pump will still be sufficient? or should i get more gph and go for the rio 2500?

uv call for 200 +- gph which one do u use
