i'm no expert but from what I understand, electromag requires an electrical charge to do their thing whereas magnets produce a constant field

problem is i don't really know the exact question to ask. i essentially need the difference of force between the two and in the electromagnets case, what wattage, volts, current or.....? coincide with what level of force. so i guess theres a good jumping off point for the topic.
