Magnetic Cat FisH!!!

My 20" Red TaiL CatFisH swallowed an algae magnet!!! I can see the shape of the algae magnet in its stomach!!! My Gurlfriend who has never like this fish, has been draggin the Red Cat across the tank with another algae magnet. She really finds this situation quite funny. I'm only mildly amused. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to safely remove this magnet from my fish??? I'm told a Red Cat can safely re-gurgitate this magnet. HELP Please
