you mean the "J" tubes that connect to the hoses right?


they come with a set of 4 shut off valves so you can service the filter without flooding everything...there are 2 short hoses that go from the filter to the valve and then from the other 2 valves to the "J" tubes one that has a "pickup screen" for the suction, and one that has a "90" for the return...
