How often should I use the polishing cartridge in this filter. Im already running a Rena xp3 in this 90 gallon

Well...if you run it and it clogs in a day or two, you should run it more often. If it lasts a week or more you should be ok
I ran the poet foam mod from plecocaves.com and loved it. Could go months without noticeable flow reduction. Any other filter setup and I was clean It every week.
I bought a Mag 350 exclusively to use it as a polisher. I bought a second micron cartridge and I change it every couple of weeks. Since I got my bead filter, it doesn't seem to be necessary to even run it though.
