Just wondering if the Magnum canister filters are worth the purchase?

Any advise would be great. Trying to figure out the best filtration for a
65 Gallon tank.

Thanks.

For about the same price you can get 2 emperor 400 hob filters,a much better choice for most setups IMO

IMO you should get a couple of AC110s. You can get them for about 35.99 US a filter and you never have to change the inserts. Just rinse the sponge when you do water changes. These are customizable when it comes to media needs, and you can stuff almost anything in them. I have a sponge, plastic pot scrubbers, and bio max in mine. That is the best setup I have found for me. You just have to try different things and see what works best for you. You can also put bio wheels on them, if you have that desire, but you don't really need them. An AC is like a canister filter, you can fill them with whatever, they are quieter than any HOB that I have used (Whisper, Penguin, Cascade, Emperor), and they are easily taken apart to be cleaned once every blue moon. I love 'em!!:D
