Well u could use it as a polishing filter and yes it will work, not the best filter on the market but it still has gph.

I run fx5 and ac110 for polishing. Just preference I guess.

I had one for about 3 month on my 110 with 2 emperor 400. Not very impressed with it in general. I ended up switching to an eheim 2028 and never looked back
 
Well I jus want it for a polishing filter something to make the water crystal clear without spending a lot of money... And my primary filter is either gonna be a cfs700 or fx5 prolly try the cfs700 ... Any other ideas to make the water crystal clear on a budget

ya it will probably be fine ....another cheap solution ...big sponge filter on a 400gph (or so)powerhead... guranteed water polisher on med size tank
