main cool fish in a 30 gal

what would you pick as a main fish i think it is called a show case fish for a 30 gal

I would definantly get some type of smaller cichlid. Maybe like an african or something.

i like africans but the keni i have doesnt have alot of personality and he is in a 40gal with some other africans

A Convict cichlid. Quite personable, and stay around 6-7" max.


My aunt's boyfriend used to have one named "elmo" (lol). It had such a personality... I always thought it was thinking "I'm good, and your good. Just DON'T come near me." It would 'defend' itself against the mighty monster that was his hand.
