I was able to cycle the QT tank in about 4 days using the old filter mat from my existing setup.
My thought is after the current residents in the QT tank are ready to move to their home, what does every one think about tossing in like 15 guppy females and 5 guppy males?
My thought is that the guppies would keep the tank established at all times, then if I need the QT tank, I can either drop all the guppys into the display, where my Texas, Oscar, or JD; would happily eat them. I could also just leave them in the tank and treat them along with the other fish I treat?
