so had a whim to redo the big tank today, so woke up pulled the sand , went to the hardware store and heres the result

total project cost: $20

2 bags of Mexican Beach Pebbles
1 18" long 4" wide ABS pipe
bunch of artifical plats i had lying around
anout 3 hours of labor

lol, ya, about that feeder, an ex girlfreind made me keep him, cant bring myself to get rid of him......she named him and everything......

but ya the ornate is like 12-13"s and totaly hand tame, ive had him scine he was just a little worm, hes wut started it all actually
 
Looks good!

Im thinking about using they same type of stone in my tank but Im concerned about food falling down in the cracks, getting stuck, and rotting as I primarily feed chopped shrimp. Ive only had tanks that were bare bottomed, sand, and fine gravel so excuse me for sounding dumb but you cant actually gravel vac that can you?

BTW where is your NGT in the after shots?
