MY PAROON SHARK LOOKS PALE IT LOOKS LIKE ITS LOSING ITS COLOR ITS BLACK COLOR IS STARTING TO FADE HE IS 5 INCHES IN A 50 GALLON TANK WITH A ALBINO OSCAR (5 INCHES) ,RED TAILED CATFISH ( 4 INCHES ), WITH SOME MOSQUITO FISH

I just did a 70% water change and i did not take him out
I put nutrafin clear fast

Youve got a lot of bioload in a 50. Are you keeping up on your weekly 50% water changes?

50 gallon divide filtration (gallons per hr) =Y

Final equation:

X+Y= dead fish

50% water changes are too much, 25-30% weekly are about right. 50% and you're looking at noticeable temp changes and hardness changes.

get a good test kit and post up the numbers. I'm betting ph is to high or way to low. Also what is your filtration as your stock is not muck more then mine But I run a cascade 700 along with an in tank uv
