Woke to what appeared to be a lengthy overnight power outage in my rheophillic tank.
Not sure how bad the carnage is yet, but from the lack of activity, after the power returned it looks significant.
but....and......
that is to be expected in a hot climate, where water temp seldom drops below the low 80s, and if current stops dead.
So far
the carcass of a Chaetostoma Pleco (rubber lip)
2 Awaous gobys, and what looks to be a Gobiomorus species

1 Andinoacara cichlid

Confirmed survivors so far, are 1 Andinoacara, and 1 Curimata (?) tetra.

MIA
the Machaca, and large Gobiomorus (both below), both seen in better days

Some other survivors of the outage (not in the tank, but in the attached sump, are a couple of juvie cichlids

Darienheros above, Andioacara below

Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes......it eats you.
