How do I make my fish color brighter? My silver and jardini eats Hikari sticks all day, and they have plenty of space to swim around. Should I change their diet? My light color is a bit warm, should I change it? will the light color enhance their color? Maybe put more plant and rock decoration? Nothing to stress or freak them out please...

Shrimp and prawns help bring out the colour too, try mixing up his diet, that should help..

Also, my silver doesn't seem to have that much shine on his scales like my jardini, is that normal?

Astaxanthin powder...you can add it to you market shrimp! ;) its is the color enhancer in hikari food sticks...it is a concentration of shrimp color....it is found it a dietary supplyment called bioastin that people take for better eye sight, energy and as an antioxidant.

Go beheaded prawns with a tail (remove the spike at the end though). Centipedes and geckos, but probably not at your location ^^
