Making a new breed beetween african and american cichlids

I dont know, but why would you want to? If you truly are a "cichlidlover," you wouldnt want to go messing up their gene pool.

Any cichlid you find in a LFS has had it's gene pool messed around with already.

You cannot cross an African cichlid with an American, they just aren't closely related enough.

I don't know, but on South Park they bred a pig with an elephant:popcorn:
