Making a salwater tank Fresh Water...

How long does it take to get all the salt water out of a 125 gallon fish tank? How should I go about this?

drain as much as u can, change your bio-media, and water changes should take care of the rest...watch ur ph, i had trouble when i changed mine over

Wash it out with warm water.you should be able to get the salt and calcium deposits off with vinegar or muriatic acid.rinse it a few times and its good to go.

switching over to Freshwater because? Im just curious... what was in the saltwater tank before?

freshwater > saltwater
(just my humble opinion)

drain out all the saltwater, hose down the tank and fill will freshwater then wipe down all sides of the tank on the inside and hose it again.. and drain it. and keep doing it a few more times then you should be good.
