Need advice on fish safe silicone, or whatever bonding agent that can mend acrylic to glass, that is also safe for fish..

There isn't one. but if your putting in a divider silicone (GE Silicone I or II Door & Window w/o Bio-Seal is easiest to find here, don't know about in . ) will hold it in place as long as pressure is equal on both sides.

What are you wanting to do?

I want to make a sump, and need something to hold the acrylic peices to the glass tank.
If that helps..

So they're just divider, then it will be ok. Just silicone both sides of the 'divider'.

If tank size permits, I lay it on it's side and suspend the divider with tape to hold it in place and silicone one side at a time. If you cut the dividers to fit too snug your putting constant undue pressure on the tank which is never good.

ok well so far they are a little too big for the tank so im cutting them, so how much space should be on both sides? 1/8 or bigger?
