Okay, this is a 1.5" triangle of oak shelving. I've screwed three 1x3 pieces of clear alder at each corner. It's a 90 degree cut, but the total triangle is asymmetrical. Like this:

The problem is that it's leaning away from the wall. Should I shorten the back leg a little and see if it leans back toward the wall? The ground is a joke so it's all pretty much guesswork here.

I just did shim the front two legs and it seems more stable. I think I'll be adding more legs for overall stability, though. It's still looking really sketchy.

More legs??? I can't see how that could help.

I'd try some foam pads under the feet of the legs, helps distribute the weight off any high points.

I put alder cubes under them. I've got a betta tray going on it now. Looks very stable and manageable for a long time. Thanks. :)

Is it on a carpeted floor? You may just have the back leg sitting up on a tack strip under the carpet. Pulling it an inch or so away from the wall would take care of that.
