Is their some kind of cheap magical dollar store product I can use to make my acrylic cylindrical tank so that I can physically see the fish? something that doesnt require a hundred million dollars in funds and ten thousand physicists by my side? The distortion is so bad you cant see half of the tank. The middle is visible only and the left and right sides are not even their. Unless you move to the side where you can then see that other but now cannot see the first side...

Yeah. Get a hexagon lol on a serious note. It must be a small cylinder that the distortion is that bad. I'm not sure of there is anything though

Buy a larger column tank and place the cylinder tank inside it. Fill them both with water. Then it's a tank within a tank. Doesn't fix your problem at all, and is completely useless advise. So I thought this would better suit you...
