Making my jack dempsey a good trained pet:)???

hi i wanted my jack dmepsey really aggressive but i will eventually get a 150 gallon and i will put a jag in it and raise him to raise hell hehe anyways i want my jack to be tame and take stuff from my hand and grow big and be like a dog but in water well i guess hell just be like a pet fish:s but i need tips on how to do it i dot want to make him less aggressive to much but i love aggresive cichlids btu seeing how i have a bad ass convict i coudl use a lil pet like fish haha how can i do this id love to be able to ahnd feed him.?

Sounds like you would be better off with an Oscar. If you have a fish that is aggressive it will be aggressive to everthing not just tank mates, My RD is a mean ba@#ard talk about bite the hand that feeds you.

yeh, u get a jag like your RD there bites are 100x worse then a RD he will take chunks out of your hand.

My jack is amazing, hell eat out of anyones hand (but only eats krill, and sinking carnivore if he feels like it) and is always at the front of glass looking for some love. Unfortuantly hes a bit sketchy when i try to pet him, but were working on that.

My jd eats out of my hand, i just hold a peice of freez dried krill till he comes to get it, now he actually jumps out the water with the aim of a jedi, its retarded

I did it haha i made ihm handfeed tonight i held a shrimp fro bout 10 minutes int he water he was almost going to take a bit ebut got scared of my thumba nd my finger but then i took a lil piece off and showed im my hand was droppin it and he took it and ate it so i out my tohe rhand with the shrimp back in and he realized it tasted good comming from my hand i guess haha and took a bunch of vigourus bites ripping off pieces it was cool i guess a first step to becoming my wet pet haha thanks by the way
