making my own silk plants?

I was thinking about getting a nice silk plant or 2 for my betta (I like live plants, but I don't want to deal with it in that tank). I can't find any I like though.

I was thinking about trying to make my own. I'm not 100% sure what kind of material I should use (silk plant implies they're made out of silk, but are they?, and what fabric types would be fish-safe?)

Just a kooky thought I had, not sure if I'll pursue it or not.

well you should check out your local florist, normally they carry silk plants... they might be able ot lead u in the right direction ( i deliver for a florist occasionally, so i know this as a fact they carry them)

I have some for Sea Garden Silk Plants for free. Just pay me $5 for S&H and theyr're your.

Just get a java fern or anubias nana or both and stick it in the tank. As long as there's light it'll live.

Yep a local Michael's or Hobby Lobby will stock silk flora.
