I found a 210 gallon in dallas for 250, my friends gonna hold it for me until i can pick it up.

i was wondering how i can attach a permanent lid, i was thinking about gluing a piece of plexiglass on the openings of the tank, then i will use a dremel or jigsaw to cut out a lid.

could you guys recomend me tools that i would need to cut into plexi glass, and a good "glue"/ epoxy, to seal it.

also, is it hard to drill and install bulkheads for an overflow? filtration is gonna be in a 55 gallon sump.
oh i kinda forgot to ask what the tank is made of. im thinking its an acrylic tank

That's a glass tank, acrylic tanks don't have single center bracing like that.

I would just get some egg crate/light diffusor from Home Depot, cut it to size and set it on top with somthing to weigh it down - you don't necessarily have to make a permanent lid for an arowanna to not get out.

umm if u gonna attach the lid permanently then how you gonna feeds it and ect... o_O
curious lols...

i said i was gonan cut a seprate hole , into the lid i would be adding
i done the eggcrate idea on my 125 gallon, but i dont really like it because im trying to avoid evaporation, i have a 6foot coral light that i would be using

better yet, how are you gonna do a water change :)

Man you guys don't read

I will cut large slots into the glass/plexi glass covers
the slot will have a removable lid

is there any good way to bond plexiglass to glass

man that tank look like it will explode if u fill it with water.
