Making vids smaller?

Guys, yesterday i finally made some nice quality vids of my fish while feeding them. This morning i wanted to post them but now i see they are quite large and have some stupid sounds in them. My questions: How can i make them smaller (they are 50-80mb) without sacrificing quality and how to remove the sounds?

do you use a specific programme to edit vids? or are you just uploading them straight?
cant wait to see the blue eye

i dont have any software to edit mate, thats the point. what can i use that isnt too difficult to use straight away?

What kind of camera are you using..

or go to like download.com,find a video editor,and use a trial one.
