Hes hit just over 6" now-its a very deep, full bodied fish with a massive appetite. As much as I love him my dilemma is he seems to really spook my Tigerfish and keeps my smaller NGT in a corner all the time. Don't know whether to get rid of the Leaffish or the Tigers. I don't see these Leaffish for sale much here in UK. Did have a smaller Banded Leaffish but he had to go due to aggression.

Nice! I´ve never heard of this fish, Is it a labyrinthfish?

No its not a labyrinth fish. Its actually from the family Nandidae-when people think of leaffish they always assume its the South American Polycentrus sp.
If you ever see them for sale snap them up but be aware they can be bossy

these guys pretty much act like cichlids.

Great looking fish, definately on my list...good to know about the attitude also

btw-keep this one, get rid of the dats, everybody has those :D and share more pics!

I wouldn;t get rid of the leaf fish...they are something you don't see every day, and yours look great too

again like what i said, Indian imports, these are rare fish :) but these fish do also come from Malaysia, but wild caught only, and almost never exported. So still RARE!
