Malapterurus electricus (Electric Catfiish) Need some information and help please.

I have had Frankie my electric Catfish for probably a year or more now. He is the coolest fish I have ever had, he truly is interactive in fact he is watching me type this now probably wanting some silver sides. Anyways I am posting some pictures of theis blueish purple spot that he had when I got him was much smaller and is slowly growing, I have no idea what it is, Parasite maybe? In the pictures it almost looks like there are other ones behind it also starting. Any one have any information on this? I also know that since they don't have scales you need to be careful with what you medicate them with, any information would be very appreciated!

its possible it could be a cyst or the lymphocistist also could be fatty deposits too or even a tumor worse case scenario hopefully someone else will chime in with more experience in this species i have seen lymphocitis in gars before and i treated it by bringing the temps up and adding a lil bit of aquarium salt to the tanks
