Malawi Eye Biter

Hi I was wondering if my Eye Biter would get color. It is a dull greyish with a red stripe. I know some get blue and was hoping mines would but was wondering if any of you knew about when the color might develop.

I have raised two in the past ( and have two babies now) and the male I had started to turn blue around the 3.5 - 4 inch mark. How long it will take depends on the amount of food you feed and tank size. But mine all seem to grow fairly quickly. Hope you have a male they are beautiful!
