Here are most of the inhabitants of the 65, I picked these fish up all together and they have been together since they were <2". I know some of these (at least I think, but any input would be great b/c I am really clueless when it comes to Malawi cichlids. Hope you enjoy the shots, they enjoyed posing:grinno:

I'm more of a hap/peacock guy, but I'll give it a shot.

#1 - Mel. auratus
#2 - Ps. lombardoi (kenyi)
#3 - Afra/hongi (?)
#4 - M. estherae (Red zebra)
#5 - Protomelas of some sort - fenestratus, maybe?
#6 - Ps. crabro (bumblebee)
#7 - Mel. johanni
#8 - Labeotropheus trewavasae or fulleborni

1- melanochromis chipokae(the head isn't right for an auratus.)
2-Kenyi( Metriaclima lombardoi) Female
3-Metriaclima Greshakei-male
4-Red zebra(Metriaclima estherae)
5-No idea
6-Bumblebee(Pseudotropheus crabro) male
7-Maingano (Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos)
8-Labeotropheus trewavasae (male)

#5 might be a really washed-out Red Empress ?

1. Agreed, I was thinking Auratus, but am going with Chipokae

3. Agreed, or possibly a Pseudotropheus Zebra (Mbenji)

5. ?? Looks like a female hap to me
6. ?? I don't think it is a Bumblebee. At that size, he would still have the yellow/brown color. I pulled out the Cichlid: A Pictorial Guide Volume 1 and 2 books..but can't find it.

Joe, you are right on #8...that guy is awesome...but the others aren't too shabby either.
