It's a nice looking fish,but does look different than mine.makes me wonder a little although color variants are very common in cichlids.

I got lucky and picked up some juvis at the lfs-discount pets no less! got 6 and eventually had a spawn.no babies now though.I hope they breed soon.

How aggressive are they ?

I've had a few and while not extremely aggressive they can put away other fish that are small enough to eat.One big male that I had would divide his time between hiding in his lair and cruising around the tank looking for a fight.

I sold one to a friend and his shovelnose ate it whole.that surprised me.
