Malaysia Driftwood Question regarding slime

I was reading and wondering if I buy Malaysia Driftwood from a store do I have to worry about that white clear slime build up?

The reason I ask i found my own driftwood in the past and even once I boiled it I had slime build up. I like wood in the tank I just wanted to see if i get the Malaysia Driftwood will i have any issues? According to the below site it is cured?

I have a 45 gallon with a Fluval 405

The slime will probably occur. Just wait it out. If you keep ottos or some plecos, they love the stuff.

I've never had a slime problem with Malaysian driftwood. It seems to be the African Mopini that gets all slimy in my tanks.
